Message from the President...

The Community Center was open to residents for observing "National Night Out" Aug. 4th. The Garden Club donated 6 dozen cookies and the FCPOA direc-tors also furnished cookies and beverages. Country and Blue Grass Music was provided by "No Strings Attached" band.

Thanks to the City of Houston Bike Patrol, Police Diving Team, Houston Fire Department, Stations 101, 102 and 103. Radio station 93Q distributed T-shirts and Bumper stickers. Sylvia Garcia, City Controller was present. Next year we hope to have advanced information so that more residents will be informed.

Street Light requests will be finalized at the Sept. meeting to turn into HL&P for 178 additional lights in Forest Cove.

Permits must be secured from FCPOA for any additions added to a present structure or construc-tion of a swimming pool. These permits are required by Forest Cove and the City of Houston, to meet build-ing regulations.

I would like to Thank everyone for cards, plants and flowers following my surgery and recuperation, it is nice to know you have friends, neighbors and family in time of need.
