The plans for the 1999 swim season have been finalized and it is time to get wet. The youngest Fightin' Frogs made a big splash in the Frog pond on April 26. The water was cold but the energy levels were high. Practice for the entire team started May 2. It isn't too late to be part of the team. Kids of all ages are encouraged and welcome to join the team. Being a Fightin' Frog is a good way to become a strong swimmer, have fun, and be a part of the only community team! For information, call Susan Ecoff at 281-359- 0549.
see the Frog page for more info.
Water Queens, Mermaids, and Water Nymphs Sign up for our sixth year of water aerobics class. For information contact Ingrid Rasch 281-359-4490
This is my last message as your president although I have one remaining year on the Board, and it has been my pleasure to serve the last 2 years. My main goal has been to improve and make Forest Cove a safer place for our children and Senior Citizens.
We have been working on the Deed restrictions for the past 2 1/2 years and are beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
We have asked residents not to install anymore water wells in the community until after the finalization of the Restrictions. Everyone is encouraged to vote on the restrictions once they are finalized. Watch for the voting day, it will be publicized!
My phone is a fingertip away, please call me if you have any questions or complaints, remember everyone has a right to their opinion.
Change of plans! The Annual Installation Luncheon will be held at the home of Faye Norman, 1210 Castle Hill May 13th at 11:30 a/m. Irene Pack will pass the Gavel to LaRue Skarbovig after which Irene can "kick-off" her shoes and relax, LaRue be ready to don your "waltz shoes" or "roller blades". This has been a very busy productive year for the Garden Club and there is only one scheduled outing planned. May 27th, a trip to the Debra Duncan Show, please call Rosie Hartley for time and car pooling, (281-358- 6051).
Yards will be judged June, July and August and the annual Christmas Yards. All the yards were so beautiful last year, this will be another challenge!
see the Garden Club page for more info
