1219 Chestnut Ridge

Caterina Venitucci

Caterina purchased her home in 1993.  The front flower bed consisted of pea gravel and one large Maguey cactus.  That first summer, she removed the gravel, pulled up the cactus, began improving the soil to turn the bed into a beautiful flower garden.  She planted Americana roses, Mexican heather, impatients and begonias.
This summer she recycled the brick from her remodeled fireplace as a border for her front walk, trees and front beds.  She also redesigned the river rock borders, alternating river rock with pots and grass.  Her back yard is equally beautiful and has a vegetable garden.  Caterina said that she loves roses, especially the Americana as it has a tremendous scent, and that she truly enjoys gardening.

1601 Mustang Trail

Louis & Elaine Scott

Butterflies, bees and hummingbirds just love this whimsically designed yard that is chock full of colorful flowers and foliage.  The many flower beds boasts Antique roses, vintage plants and oak leaf hydrangea.   Elaine is a local chiropractor and an avid gardener.  Their son helps her maintain the beds and her family says that her motto is - “If I see dirt, I stick a plant in it.”   This yard is a real charmer.
