Let's Line Forest Cove With The Star Spangled Banner !

Girl Scout Troop 3849 (the Trail Blazers) would like to line your street with patriotism by placing a United States Flag in the lawn of every home. Flags will be placed early in the morning and removed in the evening on each of the following "flag days":

Memorial Day (the last Monday in May)
Flag Day (June 14)
Independence Day (July 4)
Labor Day (the first Monday in September)
Veteran's Day (November 11)

To cover our expenses, and to serve as a fundraiser for our Girl Scout activities, each home that would like a flag in their yard on these days is asked to pay an annual subscription fee of $20.

These flags are 3 ft. by 5 ft. poly flags attached to 10 ft. metal poles. They are owned and maintained by Troop 3849 and will be brought out of storage and displayed only on the dates shown above. The pole will be placed in an inconspicuous PVC holder that we will install below ground level along the street.
